A big long run-on sentence: As of right now, I'm 17 in Canada and 18 in Norway

....how weird is that?

Before I Went on Exchange, I Had Never....

-Been on a train

-Eaten reindeer

-Used a language other than english in everyday life

-Watched a movie with text and sound in two different foreign languages, and understood it

-Eaten a hamburger with knife and fork

-Been to Europe

-Been away from home for more than 2 weeks

-Thought in three different languages at once

-Eaten brown cheese

-Been north of the Arctic circle

-Willingly eaten butter and cheese together

-Eaten so much fish and potatoes

-Walked by the neighbor's house, and seen a dead, skinned moose? hanging in the open garage

-Met so many people from all over the world

-Been the only native english speaker in a group of about 10 people from four different continents, and yet everyone was communicating in english

-Eaten grouse or pinekjøtt

-Celebrated Christmas on December 24th

-Used public transit so much

-Used a laptop in school

-Talked on the phone in another language

-Been to a World Cup

-Heard a cross country ski race on the radio

-Eaten so much chocolate

-Seen a viking ship

-Sat on a cardboard box in the mud with guys from finland yelling over our heads, while eating waffles and watching a ski jump competition

-Been so proud to be Canadian when Alex and Devon won gold

-Been congratulated on my countries' medal

-Straightened my hair on a train

-Appreciated pumpkin pie so much

-Gone to school in the dark and seen the sunrise after first class

-Missed speaking Norwegian after 3 days with exchange students

-Eaten a sheeps eye

-Babysat in another language

-Come back from a hike at 1:30 am

-Loved life so much =)
